Union: Hidden sanctions can hurt Russian grain exports

MOSCOW, Jul 7 (PRIME) -- Hidden sanctions can hurt Russian grain exports, Director of the Russian Union of Grain Exporters Eduard Zernin said on Thursday.

"We must not forget that the sanctions that are introduced on Russian grain shipments are hidden. Everyone says publicly that there are no problems, but this is not true. The problems have not been solved," Zernin said.

The official said that the E.U. ships cannot enter the Russian ports to load grain, the banks that are E.U.-residents have big problems with payments for the products. Besides, some foreign agricultural equipment producers have left the Russian market exacerbating the situation, Zernin said.
